The line samples Baltimore club DJ Frank Ski and his 1993 track Whores in This House, which Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion reused as the opening hook for WAP in 2020. After WAP became a viral hit, the isolated intro was clipped for TikTok, Reels and soundboards as a standalone joke. Its short length and callout style made it perfect for reuse whenever a video needed an exaggerated announcement before showing a house, a party, or a group of people inside.
About this sound
The opening line from Cardi B's WAP saying there's some whores in this house, used as a funny intro for house parties, entrances and meme edits.
This is the short vocal sample that opens WAP, with a male voice announcing that there are some whores in this house over a minimal beat. Delivered like a club DJ hype call, the line is flat, loud and instantly recognisable even in less than two seconds. It works because the announcement feels both serious and absurd, turning any ordinary room entrance into a dramatic reveal. Creators cut it in right before someone walks in, pans across a messy party, or reveals a group of friends acting wild for the camera.
