This clip does not have one clear, documented origin, and it appears to have spread as a user-made meme sound rather than as a direct quote from a Sonic game. Its tags link it to Sonic fan edits and to the wider poop and reaction-meme culture online, where short, absurd sounds are reused because they are easy to recognise in context. That remixable nature is part of its appeal: creators can drop it into gameplay videos, meme compilations and short-form edits without needing the audience to know a specific scene, and the silly-to-loud contrast keeps it useful for quick jokes.
About this sound
A short, chaotic Sonic meme clip mixing a surprised reaction with a loud boom, used by creators for funny fails, unexpected twists and gaming moments.
This is a very short, punchy Sonic meme sound that lands like a joke in just over two seconds. It opens with a confused, almost questioning tone before tipping into the word poopy and a sudden, exaggerated boom that cuts everything off. The contrast is what makes it funny: it sounds silly and messy, then loud and final, like a reaction that escalates too fast. Played over a clip, it turns a small mistake into a dramatic punchline and makes viewers expect something absurd to happen next, even when nothing serious is going on.
