Wubba Lubba Dub Dub comes from Rick and Morty, the Adult Swim animated series about the brilliant but reckless scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty. The phrase is Rick's recurring, drunken catchphrase, repeated across the show until fans adopted it as shorthand for his chaotic personality. It spread through memes, reaction videos and soundboards, where the short, chant-like delivery made it easy to reuse out of context. It remains popular because it instantly signals Rick's brand of manic, self-aware humour without needing any explanation.
About this sound
Rick Sanchez's catchphrase from Rick and Morty, shouted in a manic, slurred burst. Fans use it as a reaction sound for funny moments in videos and memes.
Wubba Lubba Dub Dub is Rick Sanchez's signature drunken catchphrase from Rick and Morty, delivered in a loud, slurred, almost sung shout that rises and falls like a boastful chant. In this short clip the words tumble out fast, with Rick's gravelly voice stretching the syllables and leaning into the absurd rhythm, making it instantly recognisable even without the picture. It lands as pure chaotic energy, a burst of manic confidence that turns a normal scene into a joke. Hearing it signals that something ridiculous, reckless or brilliantly unhinged is about to happen, and it usually makes viewers laugh before they even know why.
