The clip comes from Geometry Dash, the rhythm platformer created by RobTop Games, where it is used as a piece of in-game dialogue tied to secret and hidden content. Players encounter it when pushing beyond normal levels into locked or concealed areas, which is why the line became associated online with being caught somewhere you do not belong. As Geometry Dash edits and secret-hunting videos spread on YouTube and TikTok, creators lifted the isolated voice line for memes about trespassing, spoilers, and discovering things that were meant to stay hidden.
About this sound
The 'You Shouldn't Be Here' dialogue line from Geometry Dash, a short ominous voice clip used for secret areas, forbidden rooms and jumpscare edits.
This is a short spoken warning delivered in a low, distorted and slightly echoing voice that immediately feels threatening. The line is flat and calm rather than shouted, which makes it sound more like a game itself is catching you somewhere you were never meant to reach. It lasts only a couple of seconds but the pause and reverb give it weight, turning a simple sentence into an instant moment of dread that works perfectly before a reveal, a punishment, or a hard cut to something going wrong.
