ZaBen circulates as a short WhatsApp notification tone shared on soundboards and phone customisation pages, listed as a cute SMS and love ringtone. Unlike longer ringtones, its two-second chime is designed for repeated alerts, so it spread as a practical alternative to the default WhatsApp sound for users who wanted something softer. It remains popular in message pranks, chat recreations and short-form edits where a recognisable incoming-message cue is needed instantly, and it is often saved as an MP3 for personal notification settings rather than for musical listening.
About this sound
Short WhatsApp message notification tone with a cute, light chime. Used as an SMS alert, love ringtone, and everyday phone message sound for chats.
ZaBen is a brief two-second notification tone built around a soft, bright chime that rises quickly and fades cleanly. It has the familiar feel of a WhatsApp message alert, light and friendly rather than sharp or alarming. The cute, melodic quality makes an incoming message feel personal and upbeat, which is why many people keep it as their main SMS sound. On a soundboard it works as a gentle attention cue, signalling a new message, a sweet text, or a playful interruption without overwhelming the scene or distracting from dialogue that follows it.
