The clip comes from a voice changer recording rather than a film or TV show, which is why it has that clean, pitched up alien quality with no background noise. Short yapping sounds like this spread through meme soundboards and short form edits because they work without context and fit almost any surprised reaction. Creators reuse it as a non human alternative to a gasp or scream, letting an ordinary moment feel absurd and extraterrestrial without needing actual alien footage or dialogue to set up the joke.
