HeroStorm is Carbot Animations' cartoon parody of Blizzard's team brawler Heroes of the Storm, reimagining its heroes as exaggerated, expressive characters. In episode 6, Illidan Stormrage, the blind demon hunter from Warcraft, is shown screaming after losing his sight, a moment that plays his dramatic lore for comedy. Fans clipped the scream because it works without any game knowledge, and editors have since reused it for gaming fails, reaction edits and meme videos where a sudden painful setback needs an outsized, instantly recognisable sound.

Illidan lets out a long, pained scream after being blinded in HeroStorm episode 6, a Carbot Animations parody used for painful fails and shocking moments.
This clip captures Illidan Stormrage screaming at full volume after his eyes are burned out in Carbot Animations' HeroStorm, the animated parody of Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm. The scream is long, raw and theatrical, rising in pitch as Illidan reacts to sudden blindness and pain, with no dialogue to soften it. That pure, exaggerated anguish makes it instantly readable, even out of context, turning a character's worst moment into a punchline. Listeners hear panic, disbelief and over-the-top suffering all at once, which is why the sound lands so well over a failed play, a painful surprise or a moment that goes badly wrong.
