Faith was released in 1987 as a single from George Michael's debut solo album of the same name, after his time in Wham!. Written and produced by Michael, it became a major international hit and stayed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks. Its famous video, with Michael in jeans, boots and a leather jacket playing guitar, fixed the song in pop culture. Online, the title also makes it a running joke for church and mass edits, especially in Portuguese meme posts.
Bu Ses Hakkında
George Michael's Faith is the upbeat 1987 pop hit with its famous guitar riff and chorus, used for confident entrances, edits and retro music memes.
This clip is the instantly recognisable opening energy of George Michael's Faith, built around a bright acoustic guitar riff, handclaps and a tight pop rock groove. Michael sings with playful confidence as the chorus hook lands, giving the excerpt a sunny, strutting feel rather than a solemn one despite the title. The contrast between the word faith and the flirty, upbeat delivery is part of its charm. Dropped into a video, it adds instant 80s swagger, turns a simple walk or reveal into a confident entrance, and makes an ordinary moment feel like a music video.
