The origin of this clip is unknown and no confirmed original source was provided with the recording, which is listed only with the Portuguese file title Gravação, meaning recording. It circulates under the misspelled or variant name gertrik tetris, so searches use that exact spelling as well as the split game reference. Online, short unnamed recordings like this spread through soundboards because they are easy to replay, share and drop into other videos. Its continued use comes from that portability and from its short length, which fits modern short form editing.
