Lucio is the Brazilian DJ and support hero in Overwatch, Blizzard's team-based hero shooter first released in 2016, and this short line comes from his in-game voice lines. Players and fans began sharing his upbeat quips on soundboards and in short clips, where the mic-check wording made it easy to reuse outside matches. It has stayed popular because it is instantly recognisable to Overwatch players, needs no explanation, and works as a quick, friendly opener for videos, streams, and reaction edits.
Bu Ses Hakkında
Lucio's 'Is this thing on?' voice line from Overwatch, a short check-in quip creators use to open videos, streams and memes with a playful mic-test moment.
This is Lucio's brief, upbeat mic-check line from Overwatch, delivered in his confident DJ voice as if he is tapping a microphone and asking whether anyone can hear him. It lasts under two seconds, with a light, almost teasing tone that lands instantly without needing any setup or context. The line works because it feels like a genuine sound check, creating a small pause that makes viewers lean in and expect something fun to follow. It is playful rather than dramatic, so it softens an opening, breaks a quiet moment, and signals that the creator is about to start, perform, or drop into something entertaining.
