Se Telefonando was released in 1966, performed by Italian singer Mina with music by Ennio Morricone and lyrics by Ghigo De Chiara and Maurizio Costanzo. Written as a television theme, it became one of Mina's most enduring recordings and a standard of Italian pop. The song has been covered in several languages and sampled and referenced by later artists. Online, its opening line is shared as a standalone clip for phone, love and farewell themes, which helps explain the shortened title Se Telefonando Io.
Bu Ses Hakkında
Se Telefonando is a short clip from Mina's classic Italian song, used in edits and posts for dramatic, romantic or nostalgic moments online.
This clip captures the opening vocal line of Se Telefonando, sung with a clear, swelling delivery over a lush orchestral backing. The melody rises quickly, giving the short excerpt a grand and emotional feel far larger than its length. Listeners hear the longing in the voice even without understanding Italian, which makes the moment instantly recognisable. It works as a dramatic punctuation in edits, turning an ordinary reveal, message or memory into something that feels cinematic, romantic and slightly wistful.
