Use Somebody is a 2008 song by American rock band Kings of Leon, released on their album Only by the Night and later widely heard on radio and in films and television. Its opening lyric about roaming around and looking down became the part most people recognise, and short clips of that opening later circulated online as a meme and editing sound. Creators keep returning to it because the line is instantly familiar and works as shorthand for longing, reflection, or a dramatic change of scene.
Bu Ses Hakkında
The opening of Kings of Leon's Use Somebody, with the singer roaming around and looking down at all he sees, used in emotional video edits and memes.
This clip captures the opening lines of Use Somebody, sung in a warm, yearning rock vocal over a steady, building arrangement. The singer describes roaming around and looking down at everything he sees, a line delivered with a mix of loneliness and hope that immediately sets a reflective mood. The melody is simple and instantly recognisable, rising gently rather than hitting hard, which makes it feel intimate even in a short excerpt. Listeners tend to pause on it because it sounds like the start of a confession, turning an ordinary moment into something wistful and quietly emotional.
