Mine Diamonds began as a Minecraft parody of a-ha's Take On Me, performed by a young singer and posted to YouTube under the Minecraft Awesome Parodys name. The earnest, off-key performance spread as a meme because the chorus sounded far more intense than the simple mining lyrics required. Clips and edits circulated on gaming pages and short video platforms, and the scream from the chorus was later cut out as a standalone reaction sound for diamond finds, jumpscares and ironic celebrations.

The Mine Diamonds scream is the loud off-key chorus shout from the viral Minecraft parody song, used in gaming edits for funny mining and fail moments.
This clip isolates the strained, cracking scream from the Mine Diamonds chorus, where the young singer belts the title words far louder than the backing track. His voice wobbles off pitch, peaks with distortion, and cuts in abruptly, which makes the moment feel both earnest and hilariously over the top. Played over ordinary gameplay, the scream instantly exaggerates a tiny discovery or disaster, turning a few blocks of ore into a dramatic triumph. The raw, unpolished delivery is exactly why viewers remember it and reuse it as a reaction.
