Packgod is a YouTuber known for fast, brutal Discord roasts, and this short line comes from that style of deadpan mockery aimed at Gen Alpha internet slang. The phrase 'what the sigma' grew out of the same brainrot meme culture as 'skibidi' and 'rizz', where exaggerated confusion became the joke itself. Clips of the line spread through TikTok edits, Discord servers and YouTube Shorts, where creators reuse it as a quick reaction to anything strange or try-hard. Its staying power comes from that simplicity: two seconds is enough to signal disbelief without explaining it.

Packgod's deadpan 'erm, what the sigma' voice clip from his viral roasting videos, used to react to cringe, weird or brainrot moments in memes and edits.
Packgod delivers the line in a flat, slow, deliberately awkward voice, stretching out the 'erm' before landing on 'what the sigma' like he has just caught something deeply embarrassing. The two-second clip sounds like a deadpan roast, half confused and half judgemental, with no music or background noise to soften it. That blank, unimpressed delivery is what makes it land, turning a normal reaction into a mocking pause that lets the cringe sink in. Played over a weird clip or a bad take, it instantly frames the moment as ridiculous and invites everyone watching to laugh at it together.
