Raining in Manila was released in 2023 by Filipino band Lola Amour and became their breakout hit in the Philippines. The song blends pop, funk and rock influences and tells a simple story of thinking about someone while rain disrupts travel around the capital. It spread widely on social media, radio and streaming playlists during the rainy season, and short chorus clips began circulating as a shorthand for Manila traffic, flooding and longing. Its mix of local setting and easy singalong chorus helped it stay popular long after release.

Raining in Manila is a short music clip from the Lola Amour song about missing someone during rainy traffic, often used in edits and rainy day posts.
This clip captures the catchy chorus of Raining in Manila, built around a smooth pop rock groove, bright keys and a relaxed vocal hook that repeats the title line. The mood is nostalgic and a little homesick rather than sad, mixing English phrasing with a familiar, singalong feel. It instantly signals rainy traffic, cancelled plans and waiting for someone to get home. Played over a photo or video, it turns an ordinary wet street or window view into a sentimental moment that Filipino listeners especially recognise right away.
