Brawl Stars players know Wasabi Power from the game's special power-up system, where it grants brawlers an extra boosted ability during matches. Clips of the shout were lifted from gameplay and shared on soundboards and in short gaming videos, where the drawn-out yell became shorthand for powering up. Its spelling varies online, with fans typing washabi and washaby as often as wasabi, which helped the sound spread under several names. It remains popular because the line is instantly recognisable to players and funny even out of context.
