Pósitron is a Brazilian automotive electronics brand best known for its car alarms and remote locking systems, which became a default sound on streets and in parking lots across Brazil. This short arming chirp was later shared on TikTok as an original sound, where editors began lifting it for car clips, memes and nostalgic jokes about locking up and walking away. Its appeal is recognition rather than novelty, especially for Brazilian viewers who grew up hearing the same beep from family cars every day.

The Positron car alarm chirp sound effect from Brazil, a short locking beep people use in TikTok car edits, memes and prank videos about parking.
This is the short electronic chirp of a Positron car alarm being armed, the familiar double beep heard when a driver locks the car with the remote. The tone is sharp, high pitched and instantly recognisable in Brazil, where Positron alarms were fitted to countless everyday cars. In a video it works as a tiny punctuation mark, confirming a lock, a departure or a job done. Viewers do not need to see the car to understand the action, because that quick chirp carries the whole parking lot scene with it.
