Cartoon Cat is a tall, black, cartoon-style monster created by horror artist Trevor Henderson and shared through his online artwork. The character quickly spread through fan art, horror stories, and YouTube videos, where its stretched grin and white eyes became instantly recognisable. The roar is often paired with fan animations and creepypasta-style edits, and it remains popular because it turns a familiar cartoon look into something threatening, making it an easy shorthand for danger in short-form horror content.

A deep, menacing roar from Cartoon Cat, the creepy cartoon monster, used in horror edits and scary memes to signal danger or a jump scare moment.
This is a low, guttural roar belonging to Cartoon Cat, the tall, unsettling feline creature from internet horror art. The sound starts with a ragged growl that builds into a loud, echoing roar, with a distorted, almost cartoonish edge that makes it feel both familiar and wrong. It is short enough to drop over a single reveal or cut, yet powerful enough to make a scene feel suddenly threatening. Listeners tend to tense up instantly, expecting something to appear from the dark, which is why it works so well for jump scares and creepy edits.
