Chikn Nuggit is a short-form animated web series created by Kyra Kupetsky and produced by BuzzFeed Animation Lab, which began releasing tiny episodes on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok in 2020. The show follows Chikn, a small excitable dog-like creature, and his friends, including Cofi, the fluffy sheep-like character behind this baa. The series found a second life on TikTok, where fans clip cute character moments as reaction sounds. This brief bleat endures because it distills the show's wholesome energy into a single instantly recognizable noise.

The cute sheep baa from Chikn Nuggit, made by Cofi in the animated web series. Creators drop it into wholesome pet clips and adorable TikTok edits.
This is the short, sweet sheep baa from Chikn Nuggit, the animated web series about Chikn and his friends. It lasts just over a second and a half and sounds like a soft, high-pitched cartoon bleat, the kind Cofi the fluffy sheep-like character would make. It is not a realistic farm recording; it is bouncy, rounded and deliberately cute, with a gentle wobble at the end. Dropped into a video, it instantly makes a scene feel wholesome and playful, turning an ordinary pet clip or reaction moment into something warm, funny and easy to smile at.
