The opening theme from Neon Genesis Evangelion, A Cruel Angel's Thesis, in a short clip used for anime edits, intros and nostalgic meme posts.
This clip is the instantly recognisable opening to A Cruel Angel's Thesis, the theme song from Neon Genesis Evangelion. It features the bright, soaring female vocal and driving pop arrangement that launches the full track, with clear Japanese singing over synths, brass and a fast rhythm. Even in just a few seconds it feels energetic, dramatic and nostalgic at once. For anime fans the melody triggers immediate recognition, while for other viewers it works as an upbeat, heroic intro sting that signals something epic or over the top is about to happen.
