Holle Bolle Gijs first appeared at Efteling in 1959, designed in the fairytale style of Anton Pieck as talking bins that encouraged children to feed them paper instead of dropping it. The family grew to include themed versions around the park, including the Tyrolean dressed Tiroler Gijs, whose Alpine styling gives him a distinct yodelling character. Clips of their short calls and thanks have since circulated among Dutch fans online, shared as soundboard bites by visitors who grew up hearing them on every trip.

Tiroler Gijs sound effect from Efteling, the short Tyrolean thank-you voice of the park's paper-eating trash can, used for nostalgic Dutch theme park posts.
This is the brief voice clip of Tiroler Gijs, one of the Holle Bolle Gijs paper gobblers at Efteling. In just over a second you hear his cheerful, Tyrolean styled character voice, pitched like a friendly park figure calling out and thanking visitors for feeding him litter. The delivery is bright, a little theatrical, and instantly recognisable to anyone who has walked past him in the park. Played out of context it lands as a quick burst of nostalgia and silliness, turning an ordinary tidy up moment into a familiar Dutch theme park joke.
