Follow alerts became a staple of live streaming as creators looked for a quick, positive way to acknowledge new supporters without interrupting gameplay or conversation. Sounds in this glitter style, with bright twinkling tones and a light magical feel, are popular because they match colourful overlays and celebration animations used on stream. They are commonly added to alert boxes in streaming software, so the chime plays automatically whenever someone follows, helping small and growing channels make each new follower feel part of the community.
