Gobo Fraggle is the adventurous leader of the Fraggles in Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock, the puppet television series that first aired in 1983. The show followed the Fraggles in their underground world, and Gobo's expressive voice made moments of surprise and fear easy to lift out of context. As short reaction clips spread across soundboards and meme edits, this panicked scream became a handy shorthand for shock.
