Gru is the central character of Illumination's Despicable Me franchise, a reformed supervillain whose deadpan delivery and elaborate schemes made him a favourite for internet memes. Short clips of the character have circulated for years in edited videos, reaction posts and short-form content, where his voice alone is enough to signal a scheming or overconfident moment. Because the character is instantly recognisable across generations of viewers, the sound continues to work as a quick shorthand for a plan, a plot twist or a comically serious attitude.
关于此声音
A short Gru meme sound from Despicable Me, used as a funny reaction clip in edits, memes and short videos when a plan backfires or a moment turns absurd.
This short clip captures the playful, mischievous energy associated with Gru, the former villain turned unlikely hero from Despicable Me, condensed into a punchy meme sound that works instantly even without the full scene. It has a cartoonish, exaggerated feel, with a clear character voice and a comic timing that makes the joke land before the listener has time to overthink it. Played over a failed plan, an awkward reveal or a sudden change of mind, it turns an ordinary moment into something sillier and more dramatic. Viewers recognise the character immediately, which is why the sound feels familiar, funny and easy to share.
