The song became one of their signature hits, gathering hundreds of millions of streams and making the brothers stars across Russian-speaking audiences. It spread through lyric videos, fan edits and TikTok montages, where its wistful chorus became shorthand for nostalgia. Years later it still appears in sentimental edits because its soft melody instantly sets a reflective, emotional tone.

A clip of 'Детство' (Childhood) by Rauf & Faik, the duo's dreamy 2018 hit. Creators use it for nostalgic edits, childhood memories and sentimental moments.
The clip captures the chorus of 'Детство' (Childhood), the hazy, melodic pop song by Russian twin brothers Rauf & Faik. Soft piano chords and a smooth, melancholic vocal line float over a gentle beat, giving the sound a wistful, late-summer-evening feel. It instantly makes a viewer feel nostalgic, as if flipping through old photographs. Creators love how the dreamy mood turns ordinary footage into something emotional, so a simple montage of friends, home videos or growing-up moments suddenly feels tender and cinematic rather than plain.
