Kira is the secret identity of Light Yagami, the protagonist of Death Note, the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata that ran from 2003 to 2006 and was adapted into an anime series in 2006. After finding a notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it, Light sets out to purge the world of criminals and builds a godlike cult following under the name Kira. Short voice clips of the character circulate widely online, where anime fans and meme editors reuse them in edits, reaction videos and villain compilations, keeping Kira's cold arrogance alive across platforms.

The Kira Catch sound is a short voice clip featuring Light Yagami, the Kira of the anime Death Note, used for dramatic meme edits and villain reveals.
The Kira Catch is a short voice clip from the anime Death Note built around Kira, the vigilante alias of Light Yagami. It captures his cold, self-assured tone in just a few seconds, usually a boastful or threatening line delivered with calm certainty. The clip has a chilling effect on viewers because the character is instantly recognisable: smug, calculating and utterly convinced of his own godhood. Creators drop it over edits, reveals and villain moments to give a scene instant menace without any extra buildup.
