Tagged in Russian as a scream and a screamer, this clip circulates on soundboards as a one-second scare effect with no confirmed original source, film or performer. Its popularity comes from how portable it is online, where short scream sounds are shared for memes, gaming edits and messaging pranks. Similar abrupt shouts have long been used in horror and comedy to startle an audience, and this version fits that tradition because it starts at full intensity and ends before the joke wears out, making it easy to drop into almost any edit.
关于此声音
A short sharp scream sound effect lasting about one second, often used as a screamer jump scare in memes, prank videos and reaction edits online.
This is a brief, high-pitched human scream that hits instantly and cuts off after about a second. The sound is raw and startled, with a sharp attack and no buildup, which makes it feel like a sudden shout of fear or surprise. Because it is so short and loud, it lands as a jump scare rather than a long dramatic wail. Viewers usually react with a flinch, then laughter once they realise it was a prank, and that quick shock-to-relief shift is why editors keep reusing it for punchlines.
