The line comes from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series, where the unseen announcer commands the winner to finish their defeated opponent before a Fatality. While Finish Him is the most famous version, Finish Her is used when the losing fighter is female. The voice performance became iconic in arcades in the 1990s and spread widely through gameplay videos, remixes and meme edits. It remains a shorthand online for a decisive, merciless victory.

This is the Mortal Kombat announcer delivering the phrase Finish Her in a deep, menacing voice. The delivery is slow and powerful, with that classic arcade resonance that makes it feel like a command rather than a suggestion. It instantly signals that a fight is over and something brutal is about to happen. Even outside the game, the tone creates instant tension and dark comedy, turning an ordinary win into a dramatic final moment.
