Mumm-Ra is the main antagonist of ThunderCats, the animated series that premiered in 1985. A sorcerer mummy serving the Ancient Spirits of Evil, he opposes Lion-O and the ThunderCats from his Black Pyramid on Third Earth and was voiced in the original series by Earl Hammond. His transformation sequence became one of the show's most repeated rituals, quoted by fans and reused in remixes, retrospectives and meme edits. Its old-school cartoon delivery keeps it recognisable decades later, even to viewers who know the chant before they know the series.

Mumm-Ra's evil transformation chant from ThunderCats, the Ancient Spirits of Evil speech used for villain reveals, power-ups and dramatic meme edits.
This is Mumm-Ra calling on the Ancient Spirits of Evil to transform his decayed, bandaged form into Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living. His frail, rasping voice builds slowly into a booming, powerful roar as the incantation repeats and the energy takes hold. The contrast between weakness and sudden strength is what makes the clip so striking, turning a simple entrance into a theatrical moment of dread and dark power that instantly signals a villain becoming far more dangerous than he first appeared.
