Murder Drones is an animated web series created by Liam Vickers and produced by Glitch Productions, with its pilot released on YouTube in 2021. The show follows worker drones on an exoplanet after humanity's collapse, hunted by the vampiric Disassembly Drones sent to eliminate them. Its mix of horror, comedy and fast paced action built a large online fandom that shares short clips as reactions and edits. This brief sound became part of that soundboard culture, reused because it instantly signals the series and its robotic threat.

A short Murder Drones sound clip from the animated web series, used in edits, memes and soundboards for a quick robotic or dramatic reaction moment.
This is a brief, sharp clip associated with the Murder Drones universe, lasting under a second and built for instant impact. It has the mechanical, menacing edge fans associate with the Disassembly Drones, cutting in abruptly and ending just as fast. Because it is so short, it works like a punctuation mark rather than a full scene, adding tension, surprise or dark comedy to a moment. Viewers familiar with the series recognise the reference immediately, while others hear a quick robotic sting that signals something dangerous has arrived.
