Palkia debuted as the box Legendary for Pokemon Pearl, released for Nintendo DS in 2006 in Japan and 2007 internationally, created by Game Freak. As part of the Sinnoh creation trio alongside Dialga and Giratina, it is said to stabilise the fabric of space around Sinnoh. Its cry, made from layered synthesised and animal-like tones, has been carried through later games, anime appearances and remakes including Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, keeping the roar familiar to longtime players and easy to reuse in fan edits.

The legendary Palkia cry from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, a sharp spatial roar players use for epic battle moments, edits and big meme reveals.
This is Palkia's in-game cry, the Legendary Pokemon that controls space in Diamond and Pearl. It starts with a metallic shriek and drops into a deep, echoing roar that feels both animal and otherworldly. The sound is short but intense, with a distorted edge that makes it instantly recognisable to Pokemon fans. Played on its own it signals power and danger, and when dropped into a video it instantly raises the stakes, turning an ordinary entrance or reveal into something that feels cosmic and unstoppable.
