The gag mashes two well-known sounds: the Pokémon anime theme, famous for its 'gotta catch 'em all' chorus, and the 'deez nuts' prank punchline from hip-hop slang that blew up online after WelvenDaGreat's viral Vine in 2015. Pairing a beloved childhood anthem with a crude playground joke became a staple of meme soundboards, where short bait-and-switch clips sit alongside other goofy ahh sounds. The Pokémon theme keeps the joke evergreen, since new generations of fans instantly recognize the melody the prank hijacks.
关于此声音
A short joke clip that riffs on the Pokémon theme and lands the 'deez nuts' punchline. It works as a bait-and-switch gag in edits, pranks and reaction videos.
The clip opens on the familiar, upbeat melody of the Pokémon theme, the kind of heroic tune that instantly makes listeners brace for a nostalgic singalong. Just as the ear settles in, the music bends into the punchline: a cheeky spoken 'deez nuts' that flips the whole mood from childhood nostalgia to playground prank. The contrast is the joke, and it lands in under eight seconds. Played for a friend, it triggers that split-second of recognition followed by an eye-roll or a laugh, which is exactly why it survives as a quick-fire soundboard gag.
