The sound comes from Bodil40, the Bulgarian Minecraft YouTuber famous in the early YouTube gaming era for trolling videos and a distinctive, contagious laugh. A laugh montage was compiled for a one million subscriber special, stitching his most extreme cackles together. Clips of that laugh spread far beyond Minecraft, becoming a stock reaction on soundboards and in meme edits in many languages, including Portuguese pages calling it risada insana, where it is still used whenever something is hilariously out of control.

A chaotic montage of the Bodil40 insane laugh, a loud high-pitched cackling sound used in gaming videos and memes for unhinged funny moments.
This clip layers multiple bursts of frantic, high-pitched laughing into one short montage that quickly escalates from a giggle into full maniacal cackling. The voice cracks, speeds up and overlaps itself, making it sound less like normal amusement and more like a character losing control completely. That exaggerated energy is what makes it land so well as a punchline, instantly signalling chaos, mischief or a joke that has gone too far. Listeners recognise the tone immediately, even without any visual context.
