Smth 72 comes from the numbered Smth series of short soundboard clips, credited to gabe17, where each entry is built around a single blunt prank line. It gained its audience through soundboard sharing, with creators reusing the same short clip because it is instantly recognisable and easy to drop into an edit. Its continued use comes from that simplicity: the joke needs no context, the delivery is short enough for TikTok and short-form edits, and the awkward punchline still surprises listeners who are not expecting it.
关于此声音
Smth 72 is a short prank voice clip from the numbered series, delivering a crude joke line that creators drop into meme edits for a sudden, awkward laugh.
This is a brief spoken prank clip from the Smth series, built around one deliberately absurd and crude question that lands as a shock punchline rather than a setup. The voice is direct and deadpan, with the joke carried entirely by the wording and the sudden bluntness of the delivery, so the humour comes from the listener's double take instead of any music, sound effect, or build-up. Because it is only a few seconds long, it works best as a cold cutaway or a reaction beat, cutting straight to the line and letting the awkward silence afterwards do the rest of the work.
