Usada Pekora is a Japanese VTuber with Hololive who debuted in 2019 as part of its third generation, known for her mischievous rabbit persona and loud reactions during game streams. Clips of her screams were widely shared on YouTube and social media, and her iyaaa became a shorthand reaction among fans, similar in use to an anime wow moment but far more panicked. The clip spread beyond her live audience into edits and soundboards because its short, distinctive shriek expresses flustered surprise without needing any context from the original stream.

Usada Pekora's high pitched iyaaa scream from the Hololive VTuber, used as a cute anime reaction sound for surprise, panic and embarrassed moments.
This is Usada Pekora letting out a sharp, high pitched iyaaa, a startled scream stretched into a single burst lasting just over a second. The voice cracks upward with panic and embarrassment, sounding more cute than genuinely frightened. It lands instantly as an over the top anime reaction, turning a small mistake, jump scare or awkward reveal into comedy. Because the delivery is so exaggerated and recognisable, viewers read it as playful distress rather than real fear, which makes it perfect for punctuating fails and flustered moments.
