The Weird Route is an alternate storyline in Deltarune Chapter 2, released in 2021 by Toby Fox as the second chapter of the follow-up to Undertale. Unlike the normal route, it is hidden and involves Kris forcing Noelle to use her ice magic in increasingly harmful ways, leading fans to also call it the Snowgrave Route. Its short jingle became a shorthand online for that tonal shift, shared in edits, memes, and discussions where players instantly recognise what the sound implies without any dialogue.

The Weird Route jingle from Deltarune Chapter 2, a short unsettling chime that plays during the alternate Snowgrave route for memes and edits.
This is the short jingle that plays in Deltarune Chapter 2 when the player commits to the Weird Route, also known as the Snowgrave Route. It is a brief, distorted musical sting with a hollow, icy tone that feels wrong compared to the game's usual cheerful sound cues. The notes hang for just a moment before fading, creating instant unease. For players who know the context, it signals a dark turn, manipulation, and consequences, which is why the sound alone can change the mood of a scene.
