Kifflom comes from Grand Theft Auto V where it is the central greeting of the Epsilon Program a fictional self help cult led by Cris Formage that parodies real world movements. Michael Townley can encounter the group through a series of optional missions and the word quickly became shorthand among players for the whole storyline. Clips and remixes using the greeting spread through GTA forums and video edits in the years after the game launched in 2013 and it remains a recognisable in joke for longtime fans.

Wyld Kifflom is the short greeting clip from Grand Theft Auto's Epsilon Program, used as a meme reply, intro sting and in-joke for GTA fans online.
The clip is built around a single drawn out Kifflom greeting delivered in a calm cult like tone that fans instantly link to the Epsilon Program. It lasts only a few seconds with the voice front and clear and little else competing underneath which is why it lands as a punchline rather than background. Played without context it sounds oddly polite and mysterious at the same time and that contrast is the joke. It works best as a sudden greeting or reveal moment where the audience needs a beat to recognise the reference before reacting.
