The phrase ah c'est marrant is French for ah, that's funny, and this clip is attributed in its file details to French rapper Orelsan. Online, short reaction clips like this spread because they are easy to drop over videos, memes and chat replies without needing a long setup or translation for French-speaking audiences. Its appeal lies in its restrained, knowing tone, which suits ironic jokes, self-deprecating moments and deadpan commentary better than a loud laugh track. That versatility has kept it in circulation as a quick reaction sound for creators.

A short French voice clip of Orelsan saying 'ah c'est marrant', meaning ah, that's funny, used as a dry reaction to an ironic or unexpected joke.
This short clip captures a French male voice delivering the phrase ah c'est marrant in a flat, amused tone, as if reacting to something unexpectedly funny rather than laughing out loud. The delivery is brief and conversational, with a slight pause that makes the irony land, and the recording sounds close and clear enough to cut through a video without extra processing. It works because it does not overreact, so the humour comes from the understatement, leaving viewers to recognise the joke themselves while the speaker simply points out that it is funny.
