Jeffy is a puppet character from the SML web series created by Logan Thirtyacre, first appearing in 2016 and quickly becoming the channel's most recognisable figure. Portrayed with a pencil in his nose, a helmet and a childlike misunderstanding of almost everything, Jeffy built much of his comedy around taking instructions literally and questioning them over and over. Clips of his voice were later cut into short sounds and shared in edits and reaction videos, where the single 'Why?' works without any context from the original sketch.
關於此聲音
Jeffy's repetitive 'Why?' question from the SML puppet series, clipped as a short voice sound effect people use for confused kids and endless questioning jokes.
This clip captures Jeffy asking "Why?" in his distinctive whiny childlike voice, drawn out just enough to sound both innocent and deliberately annoying. It is only the single question, with no setup or answer, which makes the loop feel endless. The tone is nasal, persistent and a little clueless, like a kid who will keep asking no matter what explanation he gets. Viewers instantly read it as stubborn confusion rather than real curiosity. That makes it funny as a reaction, because it turns any simple statement into the start of an exhausting back and forth that never resolves.
