The Big Fone is a recurring twist on the Brazilian reality show Big Brother Brasil, where a red telephone inside the house suddenly rings and the housemate who answers receives a power, an advantage, or sometimes a punishment. Because the call can change nominations and alliances in seconds, the ring has become shorthand online for a sudden twist. Short clips of the ring and answer circulate on social media and in fan edits, especially during live BBB seasons when viewers react in real time to each new call.

It starts with the classic loud ringing of the red phone, then cuts to the moment a housemate picks it up, creating a sharp burst of tension and excitement. For viewers, that ring means a twist, a power, or a punishment could be announced at any second.
