Daubeny comes from For Honor, Ubisoft's medieval action game released in 2017. In the story campaign, knight Hervis Daubeny is confronted by Holden Cross, and the shouted name became a quotable moment among players. Clips of the callout spread through gaming videos and soundboards because it works out of context as an over the top summons. It remains popular with For Honor fans for edits, Discord jokes and meme introductions where a normal name needs a battlefield level announcement.

The Daubeny sound from For Honor, a short shouted name call from Holden Cross used in gaming edits, memes and reaction clips for dramatic callouts.
This is a brief, forceful shout of the name Daubeny, delivered with the exaggerated authority of a battlefield challenge. The voice is loud, clipped and instantly recognisable to For Honor players, turning a simple name call into a moment of mock drama. At just over a second long, it lands like a punchline, cutting through gameplay or conversation before anything else can happen. Creators use that sudden intensity for comic effect, making an ordinary entrance, accusation or reveal feel like a formal summons to combat.
