Ruu is a young character encountered on Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact, where his story is tied to the island's fog and a tragic past. Clips of characters screaming from games are often isolated, distorted and reposted as reaction sounds, and this version follows that pattern. The heavy clipping turned a dramatic moment into a reusable meme for shock and comedy, so editors began dropping it into gameplay fails, horror edits and short videos whenever a reaction needed to feel far bigger than the scene itself.

A distorted scream from Ruu in Genshin Impact, stretched and clipped for comic shock. Creators use it for jumpscares, fails and over the top reactions.
This clip takes Ruu's high pitched scream and pushes it into heavy distortion, so the voice cracks, clips and rings out far louder than the original. The result lasts only a few seconds but feels chaotic and slightly unsettling, mixing genuine shock with absurd comedy. The pitch wobbles as the volume peaks, giving it that blown out speaker quality creators love for punchlines. It works because the scream starts recognisably human and quickly turns cartoonish, making a small moment feel like a full meltdown or sudden horror reveal in an edit.
