The phrase comes from The Eric Andre Show, the Adult Swim surreal talk show hosted by comedian Eric Andre that premiered in 2012. Ranch It Up was presented as an absurd recurring bit built around shouting the slogan with total commitment, in keeping with the show's anti-comedy style. Clips circulated on YouTube and social media, where fans isolated the shout and reused it far from its original context. That short, recognisable burst now works as a standalone meme sound for food jokes and chaotic edits.

Comedian Eric Andre shouting 'ranch it up' on his Adult Swim show, a chaotic line used in memes and edits for absurd, over-the-top food or mess moments.
This is Eric Andre delivering his Ranch It Up catchphrase in a loud, manic burst that lasts less than two seconds. The delivery is pitched up with excitement, half invitation and half nonsense command, which is why it lands as pure chaos rather than a normal line. There is no buildup, just the phrase hitting at full energy, making whatever is on screen feel suddenly unhinged. Viewers recognise the voice and timing instantly, so even a plain clip of food, a spill, or a bad decision feels like a deliberate comedy bit.
