The track is by S3RL, the stage name of Australian happy hardcore producer Jole Hughes, whose high-speed, tongue-in-cheek rave songs have a cult following among hardcore and anime convention crowds. 'My Girlfriend is a Raver' became one of his signature tunes, and this roughly thirty-second excerpt circulates on soundboards and in short-form edits where creators need an instant burst of rave energy. Its popularity endures because happy hardcore never really left meme culture: the faster and more euphoric the drop, the better it pairs with chaotic, hyper-edited footage.

S3RL's happy hardcore hit 'My Girlfriend is a Raver', a 30-second rave clip. Creators use it for fast-paced edits, festival memes and gaming montages.
This clip captures the sugar-rush hook of S3RL's happy hardcore anthem: pitched-up vocal chops, a relentless bouncy kick and a synth melody that refuses to sit still. The cheerful voice declares the title line over a 175-BPM barrage of rave stabs, sounding like a glow-stick explosion in audio form. On a viewer it triggers instant, almost involuntary hype: heart rate up, energy up, seriousness gone. It carries a heavy dose of early-2000s rave nostalgia too, which is why even people who have never set foot in a rave grin the second it drops.
