Gravity Falls premiered on Disney Channel in 2012, created by Alex Hirsch, and ran for two seasons until 2016. Its opening theme, composed by Brad Breeck, became inseparable from the show's blend of comedy and supernatural mystery centred on twins Dipper and Mabel in the fictional town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. Clips of the intro spread widely on YouTube and social media as fans shared edits and theories, and the whistled melody remains a shorthand online for creepy small town secrets and animated nostalgia long after the finale.

The Gravity Falls intro theme is the iconic whistling melody from the Disney animated series, widely used for mystery edits, spooky reveals and fan videos.
The Gravity Falls intro is the instrumental theme from the animated series, built around a lonely whistled melody over plucked strings, soft percussion and eerie harmonic swells. It starts quiet and curious, then builds into a bouncy yet unsettling rhythm that feels like walking into a small town where something is not quite right. There are no lyrics, just that instantly recognisable whistle carrying the mystery. For viewers it triggers instant nostalgia and suspense at once, signalling secrets, journals and strange creatures are about to appear, which is why a few seconds is enough to set a spooky, playful mood.
