The sound comes from a June 2024 street interview in Nashville by Tim and Dee TV, where Hailey Welch answered a question about making a man go crazy in bed with the hawk tuah line. Clips spread rapidly on TikTok and other platforms, turning Welch into the Hawk Tuah Girl and the phrase into a widely remixed catchphrase. The misspelling thua in the raw title reflects how fans searched for and shared the clip phonetically as it became a staple reaction sound online.

The Hawk Tuah sound clip captures Hailey Welch's viral spit-on-that-thang catchphrase from her 2024 street interview, used for cheeky meme reactions.
This clip isolates Hailey Welch saying hawk tuah, her exaggerated onomatopoeia for spitting, delivered in a thick Southern drawl with playful, over the top energy. The phrase lands as a sudden punchline, the drawn out hawk followed by a sharp tuah that mimics the action she is joking about. It sounds cheeky and deliberately crude, which is why the moment feels instantly quotable. As a soundbite it works because the delivery is more memorable than the words themselves, turning a throwaway interview answer into a reaction that signals mischief, innuendo and comic timing.
