The clip comes from DreamWorks' Puss in Boots from 2011, where a background cat keeps reacting to big moments with a single drawn-out oooh. That one-note gag became the joke, and short edits of it spread online as a reaction sound on forums, video remixes and soundboards. Because the delivery is so pure and exaggerated, creators still reach for it whenever they need instant amazement without words, and it remains tied to Puss in Boots' famous wide-eyed cuteness in popular culture today.

The Oooh cat sound from Puss in Boots, the cute wide-eyed reaction clip people drop when something is adorable, surprising or gets a little awkward.
This is the drawn-out oooh vocalisation from the wide-eyed cat in Puss in Boots, stretched into a soft, childlike gasp that rises in pitch. It is not a real meow but a performed reaction sound, sweet and slightly stunned, like the character has just seen something wonderful or mildly shocking. At just over three seconds it lands as an instant cute-reaction beat, making a normal moment feel innocent, amazed and a little bit silly without needing any dialogue or explanation to understand it at all.
