The line comes from Regulate, Warren G's 1994 single featuring Nate Dogg, taken from the album Regulate... G Funk Era and one of the defining West Coast hip-hop hits of that decade. Regulators, mount up became a shorthand call for gathering a crew, and short clips of the hook later spread through reaction videos, edits and social media. It endures because the groove feels instantly familiar and the call to action fits almost any moment when a group is about to take charge.

The 'Regulators, mount up' hook from Warren G's 1994 hit, with its smooth G-funk groove, used as a meme sound for squad arrivals and entrances in videos.
This short clip lifts the instantly recognisable call from Warren G's Regulate, where a laid-back voice tells the regulators to mount up over a smooth, rolling G-funk beat. Warm bass, light keys and a relaxed West Coast groove give it a confident, cruising feel, while the vocal delivery stays cool rather than shouted. Hearing it instantly signals that a crew is assembling, a plan is coming together, or someone is about to arrive in style, which is why it lands so well as a punchy intro or transition in short videos.
