Susto is a Spanish and Portuguese word for a fright or startle, and this short clip circulates online under that simple label rather than as a named scene from a film or show. Without a confirmed original source, its identity comes from how editors use it: a compact shock sound for reaction videos, pranks, and meme edits. It sits alongside the wider family of scream meme sounds, where a brief human reaction does the comic work. Its staying power comes from that clarity, since listeners recognise the scare instantly.
關於此聲音
A brief startled scare sound used for jump scares and comic reactions in memes and short videos, landing as a quick shock when something unexpected appears.
This short scare clip captures a sudden moment of fright in just under five seconds, opening with a sharp, startled burst that rises fast and then drops away without lingering. It sounds like someone reacting to an unexpected shock, which makes it instantly readable even without any picture or dialogue. The brevity is the point: the sound hits, startles the listener, and leaves room for the visual punchline to land. Played at full volume it feels jolting, while at a lower level it reads as comic surprise, giving editors a flexible reaction sting for jump scares, pranks, and meme cuts.
