Valhalla Calling was released in 2020 by Miracle of Sound, the music project of Irish musician Gavin Dunne, and was inspired by Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the Viking Age game from Ubisoft. The track mixes Norse imagery, warrior oaths and Valhalla mythology with modern rock production, and it quickly spread on YouTube and later in short form edits. Its chanting chorus made it easy to reuse out of context, so it became a shared shorthand online for Norse bravery, raids and heroic last stands.

Valhalla Calling is a Viking chant excerpt from the Miracle of Sound song for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, used for epic, battle and gym edits.
This clip cuts straight into the pounding chorus of Valhalla Calling, with deep male voices chanting in unison over heavy drums and a driving folk rock backing. The singing is low, raw and rhythmic, built around the repeated call to Valhalla that rises in volume and intensity. There are no jokes or spoken lines, just a short burst of Viking warrior energy. Played over a normal scene it instantly makes the moment feel larger, braver and more dramatic, which is why a walk, a workout lift or a game charge suddenly looks like a battle.
